Demon Cat, Queen of the land of Inside, surveys her domain from above. With evil intent, she plots the destruction of all the insects in the kingdom of Deck.

Darwin, our hero, aware of the malicious feline's plans, decides to make haste from the barren land of Deck into the lushious carpets of Inside.

Reaching the border between the two countries, our hero composes himself before making an attempt on the Queen's fortress.

From afar, he spies her.

However, the Queen is so busy attempting to eradicate the insects with her Stare of Doom, that she completely ignores the fact that the hero has arrived at her doorstep.

The stare failing, the Queen takes a more violent approach at a harmless moth.

With the Queen distracted, our hero readies himself, and....

Pounce!

Unfortunately, due to a shortness of leg, our hero was unable to reach the Queen. Silly puppy, kitties always win.

**Note part II: I also want to make it clear that Serenity, playing the role of Demon Queen Cat, is actually a wonderful kitty, who can be very loving. However, she is not a big fan of the puppy and he might see her in this light (though most of the time he sees her as a mysterious play thing that he never gets to touch).

ReplyDeleteAlex the Chinchilla, master of escaping the captivity of the uprights, often explored the domains of the beep-chirps and the feline tormentors. The felines wanted to play and sometimes see if they all were tasty.... :)
Now the kitties mostly rule the roost but the dog makes sure to give them all hell now and then. :)
